Beginning April 1, participants in the Kroger Community Rewards program must re-enroll the library’s foundation (83566) at Kroger’s secure website, www.krogercommunityrewards.com as their community rewards recipient in order to continue earning rewards for the coming year. Between the time the program began in May of 2009 through December 31, 2009, over $4,000 has been received from this program. THANK YOU!

Dublin branch seeks artist proposals for mural project

With a little help from the Friends (of the Library), the Dublin Arts Council, and exceptional talent from the arts community, the Dublin Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library will soon transform its children’s section of the library with a bright, playful mural.
The deadline for any artist to submit a proposal for the mural project is 4 p.m., Friday, April 30, 2010. A PDF with all the details can be accessed here as well on the Dublin Arts Council Web site.
Friends of the Library is proud to help fund this exciting “artist in residence” opportunity that will begin this summer and commence with a dedication in autumn.
