MAW Exhibit

Birth. Death. Coming in from recess for math class. A new job. Divorce. Dressing for Ohio weather. Not one of us is a stranger to the process of shifting from one condition to another.

CML and the Friends of the Library are pleased to present Transitions, an exhibit by Mother Artists at Work (MAW). In this show members explore a variety of states of and journeys through change. A diverse range of works are featured, including pieces in 2D & 3D mixed media, painting, enameling, fiber, photography and the written word.

Opening Reception:  April 11, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (open to the public)

Carnegie Gallery — 2nd floor of Main Library

  1. This sounds to be an exceptional event. I am always amazed at the feats of working mothers, as with the extensions of an artist’s soul. Combined is sure to be a grand statement that all would find extraordinary.
