When is the Sale

PRE-SALE (Friends of the Library members only; sign up here)
Thursday, April 12th  — 4:30 – 8:30 PM

Friday & Saturday, April 13-14th — 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Sunday, April 15th — 1:00 – 4:00 PM

Where is the sale?

Main Library, 96. South Grant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215 in the Larry Black Auditorium. New this year: we’re adding a kids room in meeting room 1A on the first floor, directly across from the parking garage entrance. There will be signs directing you to the sale.

Where do I park?

Main Library has its own parking garage. The first hour is free, fees apply after the first hour.

How much are the books?

Children’s books are $1, paperback is $2, hardcover is $3, CDs are $2, DVDs/Blu-Ray are $3.* (Unless otherwise priced)

What’s the deal on Sunday during the clearance?

On Sunday, you purchase by the bag. It’s $8.50 per bag and you receive a complimentary Friends of the Library tote.

How can I pay?

We accept cash and credit cards.

Will you have bags?

Yes, we will have Friends of the Library tote bags for sale at $3.50 each. We might have limited grocery-style bags available, but we highly recommend you bring your own (heavier duty) bags.

Who can gain access to the pre-sale on Thursday?

Only members of Friends of the Library have access to the preview event on Thursday. You can join at the door or online by visiting
