When is the Sale

PRE-SALE (Friends of the Library members only)
Thursday, October 12th  — 5:30 – 8:30 PM

GENERAL SALE
Friday & Saturday, October 13-14th — 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

CLEARANCE SALE
Sunday, October 15th — 1:00 – 4:00 PM

Where is the sale?

Main Library, 96. South Grant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215. There will be signs directing you to the sale.

Where do I park?

Main Library has its own parking garage. The first hour is free, fees apply after the first hour.

How much are the books?

Children’s books are $1, paperback is $2, hardback is $3, CDs are $2, DVDs are $3.* (Unless otherwise priced)

What’s the deal on Sunday during the clearance?

On Sunday, you purchase by the bag. It’s $8.50 per bag and you receive a complimentary Friends of the Library tote. If you bring your own bag (of a comparable size), it’s $5 a bag.

How can I pay?

We accept cash and credit cards.

Will you have bags?

Yes, we will have grocery store-style bags, but we highly recommend you bring your own (heavier duty) bags!

Will you have tote bags for sale?

Yes, we will have library tote bags for sale. They are $1.49 each and come in six different colors.

Who can gain access to the pre-sale on Thursday?

Only members of Friends of the Library have access to the preview event on Thursday. You can join at the door or online by visiting https://friendsofcml.com/membership.
