Come enjoy an afternoon of stories, music and art in beautiful Topiary Park! Now in its 7th season, PBJ & Jazz Summer Series at the Topiary Park will begin on Saturday, June 13, with additional programs every second Saturday through September. Friends of the Library is proud to be a sponsor of this concert series.
Even though Main Library is closed for renovations, we are excited to announce that our beloved children’s librarians will still present family storytimes on these select Saturdays. Storytime will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the park, with the concert following at noon. PBJ & Jazz concerts are designed for young children, and include lots of opportunities to sing and to move. After the concert there will be a hands-on art activity from 1 to 2 p.m., presented by the Columbus Museum of Art. All activities are free.
Bring a picnic and a blanket, and settle in for lots of fun!
Artists for the 2015 season: High Street Stompers (June 13), Bobby Floyd Trio with Bobbi Townes (July 11), Liz Woolley Band (August 8), and Cedric Easton & Circle of Friends (September 12). Put these dates on your calendar now!
The Topiary Park is located at 480 E. Town Street in downtown Columbus. Free parking is available in the Motorists Insurance lot just north of the Topiary Park. In the event of rain, concerts will be held the following day.
